Project Management

Our projects are mainly characterized by the uniqueness and novelty of their conditions.

In our organization, Project Management is one of the key parameters for successful performance of projects. To achieve the desired outcome on every project, the Project Management department relies on a team of experienced engineers and skillful professionals throughout all phases of the project consisting of Planning, Execution, Delivery and Installation/Erection.

The responsibilities of the Project management department could be categorized in three stages:

    1. Planning – Upon award of a project to EMMC, a Project Manager is assigned to handle all technical and commercial matters associated with the project from inception to completion. At the outset of the project, the project engineers prepare a base schedule defining all milestones, activities, and special requirements taking the size and complexity of the project into consideration.
    2. Execution – The Project Manager communicates the project requirements to all other concerned departments within EMMC such as Procurement, Design, Manufacturing, and Finance. Throughout the execution phase, the Project Manager proactively monitors, controls, and reports the progress of the project and any associated variations to satisfy customer needs using the latest versions of Project Management Software.
    3. Delivery and Installation/Erection- Prior to starting shipment of manufactured items to the Installation site, the Project Management Team assigns a Site Support Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in providing service to EMMC’s customers. The Site Support Coordinator makes site visits throughout this phase of the project and communicates customer needs to the Project Manager ensuring an efficient and timely response. When Installation and is in EMMC’s scope of work, the Site Support Coordinator acts as a liaison between EMMC’s Site Engineer and the Project manager to assist in satisfying the customer and Installation subcontractor’s needs at the site.
